Expedition & Training Schedule

Right now, Hari and the Team are preparing for their Mt. Everest attempt by honing their skills on the highest peaks in Europe and the Alps.  Here are their most recent accomplishments.

Gosaikunda - Nepal  

Date: December 18-30th 2016

Purpose:  This was an initial climb for Team Building, adjusting to equipment, climbing and camping together.

Mt. Blanc – French Alps

Date: July 1 - 8th, 2017

Summit: 4,808.7 m (15,777 ft)

Route: They took the Aiguille du Midi cable car from Chamonix, climbing the Cosmique Route.

Description: Mt. Blanc is the highest mountain in the Alps.  This dangerous peak has more deaths each year than Mt. Everest. This was the first time the entire team was together on a mountain.                                                   

Mera Peak, Sagarmatha Zone

Date: September 12017 Summit: 6,476 metres (21,247 ft)           

Description:  Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in the Himalaya range, which made it ideal to work on our acclimatization, though it also requires technical skills.  It was exhilarating climbing with one of the finest panoramas in the Himalaya, viewing five of the world’s highest mountains, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kanchenjunga.

Date:   April 1st -May 31st 2019 Summit:  8,848 m  29,029 ft.       Route:    The traditional South Col route.                                    Description:  Mt. Everest is the Earth’s highest mountain.
